So my daughter doesn't wrestle . . . but her brothers do. She wrote this as part of a poem for Kansas Day. It meant a lot to me so I thought I would share it. Super proud to have her and wrestling in our lives! Its not just the wrestlers and coaches who keep us growing.

A sport like no other
From Kansas City to Wichita to Salina and more
A million kids wearing “Sunflower State” singlets
They wrestle with so much heart
For the State they love
I’ve grown up in a wrestling home
I’ve been to countless tournaments
Nothing can compare to Kansas Kids’ Wrestling
It’s a lifestyle
Kansas raised
The people you meet will stay with you forever
It's a Kansas family
And I can’t help but smile
When it’s State in Topeka, in the big arena
And I look down upon the mat and see my brother and many more
