Junction City is planning on hosting a Freestyle and Greco tournament again this year. We are still working out the details with the Junction City High School. Please check back for updates!

The Battle At The Junction will be held at the Junction City High School on April 28th, 2018.

Get some good mat time right before State!

We have added a girls division to each style. Therefore, we are also extending the registration. We will keep the early registration deadline for the $10 discount. We will allow Friday night registration and Saturday morning registration as well. The cost for late registration is $35 for one style - but we will not exceed $50 for both styles. Hope to see everyone on Saturday!

Will there be satellite weigh ins or is the only weigh in going to be Friday in JC?

You will have 2 opportunities for weigh ins - Friday night 7-8pm, or Saturday morning 7-8am in Junction City.

Wow have always done satellite weigh in in the past. I imagine this will hurt numbers

You are correct - we have done satellite weigh ins in the past 2 years. We are opting to follow along with most other freestyle/greco tournaments this year like the Blue Chip series , that only have on-site weigh ins. Our numbers are still looking good and the tournament is still on schedule. We hope to see you there! I will release our matrix and numbers after pre-registration closes.

I was really hoping the matrix would be released. Is it because of low numbers? I think satellite weigh ins are having an impact. Either way, we will be making the drive. Hope to see some tough competition....

I had released the information, but forgot to change it on the Trackwrestling side. Our numbers are actually a little higher than last year, looking forward to some great matches. You should be able to see the wrestlers now.
