Plus more!

The Combine gives athletes (7th grade through 12th grade) who are interested in wrestling after high school an opportunity to train and compete with one another, learn technique, while getting in front of college coaches. Sessions will consist of drilling, technique, sparring and live wrestling. We invite wrestlers from ALL states to attend. Last year we had wrestlers representing six states.

There will also be a Q&A session where wrestlers will be provided with valuable information about recruiting, expectations from coaches, time management and how to minimize distractions and the understand the potential pitfalls of the student-athlete.

New this year: Coach Mike Hagerty will be doing a nutrition seminar sharing information about how to properly fuel the athlete’s body, best recovery foods and drink, Keto and the importance of proper hydration.

The past two years over 265 wrestlers were showcased in front of more than 37 colleges/universities who attended the event. Many of these wrestlers have went on to become state placers, state champions, Fargo All-Americans and even Fargo National Champions. Numerous graduating seniors that attended are now wrestling in college at all levels. You will not want to miss out on this opportunity!!!

This is the real deal for recruiting in the midwest. This year’s combine is October 6th & 7th at Oak Park High School, located in Kansas City, MO – within 25 minutes from Kansas City International Airport.

Victoria Anthony and Deron Winn have also been added to the list of featured clinicians. Both are current USA National Team Members.

Bringing Victoria in should be a huge draw to the young women in across the state of Kansas. She was a 2X Junior World Champion, a four-time WCWA college nationals champion and has been on the Olympic ladder since making her way onto the senior circuit. Ms. Anthony trains at Arizona State University out of their Regional Training Center competing for Sunkist Kids Wrestling.

Registration will end at midnight on Tuesday, October 2nd for athletes to be guaranteed to a spot in the Wrestling Combine 3 recruitment publication that will be given to the numerous college coaches in attendance. We will allow for walk up registration but keep in mind those athletes will not have their student-athlete bios included with the other wrestlers who pre-registered.
