Does anyone know the exact dates for high school state, and kids state for next year? Trying to figure out if I can take my boys to NCAA’s in Minnesota next year.

I am not 100% certain, but I believe that in 2020 it is...

HS State 2/28 & 2/29
USAWKS Districts 3/7 (but this is to be determined by each District at their Fall meeting)
USAWKS State 3/14 & 3/15

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong.

I want to get our hotel room block rolling for next year as well, if anyone can confirm, much appreciated.

At one time there was a thread pinned to the top of the Kids Folkstyle Forum with future USAWKS State Championships dates. Can't find it now, but it had the dates for like the next 4 years I believe. Any help here?

I confirmed with Scott Edwards on Friday that Kids State next year is March 14-15

ARTICLE II – QUALIFYING FOLKSTYLE TOURNAMENTS

15. State Tournament dates shall be set by the corporate board subject to approval by the state body. Current policy, starting with the 2018-19 season, is for the tournament to be held two weeks prior to the last full weekend in March.
