It is unfortunate that I have to make this announcement but the Tom Faust Memorial NOVICE tournament that was set to take place on Sunday January 17, 2021 is being re-scheduled.
The YMCA is not allowing us to hold our event on Sunday and we have been asked to leave after today.
The Tom Faust Battle of the Midwest event that was held 1/16/2021 did not go as the YMCA had envisioned. Crowd size was the major issue. We have exhausted all possible options to resolve the NOVICE tournament that was scheduled to be held tomorrow, including no spectators and running 4 sessions. The YMCA is not wanting to allow us to run tomorrows tournament with less than 200 kids in each session.
Additionally, we have attempted to locate another facility for tomorrow's tournament but we have been unsuccessful.
Please stay tuned as we already have the ball rolling on rescheduling a date. We appreciate all who were able to attend today's tournament.
