I am writing to this board to finalize and settle some questions that are being manipulated to satisfy a small group of USAWKS coaches and tournament directors.

1. An amendment or rewording to make it plain and clear to operate girls and boys from wrestling each other at all AGES ..
2. Abolish the practice of running 2 different tournaments at the same time at one or different location in order to give the chance for a girl to wrestle in both and/or boys brackets. I feel this is teaching and sending a bad message to boys and girls.Do we really want to keep sending the message to boys that it is okay to beat up a female. Better yet, teach girls that it is okay for a male to beat on them.
3. The greatest and I think the most important one is to change girls wrestling over to freestyle not folkstyle. The style in college is freestyle for girls currently. The NCAA has just sanctioned girls wrestling as a NCAA sport in Divisions 1,11,111. This would also help in the fight to change girls wrestling in the NFHS over to freestyle. There has already been a state that has changed over to freestyle, New York. Their is several other state that are planning on changing over to freestyle to give there girls a head start on on freestyle
4. the equipment that girls wear should include mandatory sports bras designed for wrestling to limit injuries and exposures to young females.
