Notes: The board recognized that there are and continues to be very few cases where a competitor could or would choose to qualify at a district tournament that it outside of the district where they live at. In order to even do as such they would have to belong to a club in that district to begin with. Most clubs typically would not allow a competitor to come be part of their team JUST for districts and state, on the other hand if said competitor was a part of that club all year long and traveled to them and with them, there there isn't really a good reason to deny them the ability to wrestle for them in a qualifier. For those reasons mainly the board voted as they did on this proposal.

Since this is the last day proposed rules changes. I'm proposing that a wrestler must wrestle in the district tournament in which they attend school. They can represent whatever club they have been with at the state tournament but at the district tournament, they must wrestle at the district tournament in which they attend school. For instance I have Newton kids! They would wrestle in the D3 tournament under CWC and represent CWC team points at the state tournament.
