Thanks for the vote of confidence soonermagic1. From what I can see Districts for D2 49 next week is going to be a tough one. There are a lot of very good wrestlers, who if they make it out of Districts, could do very well at State including Bryce Garcia and Bailey Lott who took 1st and 2nd at the Wichita Classic, Desmond Martinez, Gage Lee, Marc Guerrero, Rylan Kasitz who I've seen all wrestle and win some tough matches this year. Also, Connor's wrestling partner Tanner Smith has won against several quality kid's and has had a very successful year. If you look at the results from Salina and the Classic this year it was all District 2 kids that won the top four spots at those tournaments. All in all this weekend will not have one match that will be an easy one for any of the 49 pounders in District 2 and any of the 8 competitors this weekend could end up going to State. The one kid that will definately be in the mix at State is Tyler Price from Jackson County, he is a solid wrestler and a tough competitor.

Wow District 2 does seem to be loaded. Looks like some of the top wrestlers won't make it to state because they are all in the same district. Good luck to everyone this weekend.

I'm sorry but D1 has a very touch bracket too. How many kids were at your D2 Subs? We had in D1S 16 kids. This is a tough age and weight all the way around.

My point is that any District canbe hard whos to say which is the toughest! D1S had 6 really tough kids! All which placed in the top six!

My pick for to take 8U 49lbs is Trevor Lowell. He is undefeated, this kid is bulldog. He won the Salina Tournament of champions. Keep your eyes out for him he is definately a force to be reconned with.
