Now that the brackets are done how will this weight class end up?

Given the magnitude of the talent in this bracket I think it is whoever brings it to the mat that day, that match. All these boys have worked hard all year and deserve recognition. I wish them all the best of luck this weekend.

Agreed! Having my son in this bracket myself, and knowing the talent in this bracket it will end up how it ends up. In my opinion, all these boys are great talents and several of them know each other well and are good friends with each other. And that's what its all about, wrestle hard on the mat and be best buds off the mat.

Caleb Gash is Crash99's son. My son is Caysean Campbell. All of these boys are talented I agree, whoever shows up on their game should do well. Good Luck to both of your boys. See you Saturday.

mat_crew_coach-I will look forward to seeing your son wrestle. I think he is one of the boys I haven't got to see yet. Good luck to all the boys.

yes, Caleb is my son. Caysean is a great kid and my son looks forward to seeing him again at State. I have to tell you that Caysean is the only Kansas kid that has pinned Caleb all year. The only other kid to pin Caleb is a stud from Oklahoma, Tanner O'Neil.

Well Thank You for the compliment. We enjoy wrestling with Caleb and have used his success as a guage for our competition. He is a great competitor, and he has done very well all year, We look forward to wrestling him again in the 2nd round at State.

Bracket placed out well on Sunday. I would like to congratulate all 6 boys on their efforts and placings. Great end to a terrific season. Hope to see you all again next year.

I would like to congratulate all 16 wrestlers for making it that far-especially mine with this being his first year of wrestling. Even though he didn't place, it was quite an honor to be among the others and I'm sure we'll be seeing each other in the future.

This is my son's 2nd year of wrestling and coming from a tough District 2 bracket I can say that I am very proud of his accomplishments thus far. All 6 boys that placed this weekend know each other well, and all were good close matches with overtimes and wins/losses by 1-4 points for most of the matches in this bracket. I know that each boy likes one another and calls them friend and cheers the others on in their matches. I have seen this all year among several of the boys and it makes my heart swell when I see the comradery that this sport brings among competitors.

I thought this bracket was very impressive to watch. My son was in this bracket as well. We enjoyed all the competition. The first match he lost was 1-0 and was a awsome match to watch. I'm sure we will be seeing more of these kids next year. My son has had his batteries recharged after making it to the big dance! Can't wait till next year. We will be doing some touney's this summer as well. Thanks to all the Dads and Coachs for all the positve comments about my son, Ethin.

Glad to hear that Ethin will be wrestling this summer as well! Caleb fell in love with the sport and missed out on the big dance last year which inspired him to make it to State this year. He decided then and there that he wanted to do Summer Freestyle as well so we signed him up for it last year. He took 1st in both Freestyle and Greco State last year, but there weren't as many kids in his bracket last year. Im glad to hear that Ethin will be doing summer wrestling this year as well, and I hope to see him at some tourneys this summer!
