C. Guyer did not make it to the podium. There were several other very good wrestlers including Guyer in the bracket 8/46 that wrestled hard but had the same fate.
Why did Nick Reeb fail to show up for the podium picture? He was in the building.
My understanding is that Nick broke a finger on Saturday and therefore settled for 6th place rather than make the injury worse. This information may be wrong, but is what the table workers told us on Sunday morning.
Some kids are camera shy. The same wrestler elected to skip the photo op in Salina but I suspect someone else is making his post tournament decisions for him. Great kid!!
