e bay has lots of singlets- I paid 35 each for an OU and Nebraska singlet my kid likes. I didn't want to spend the 60 I saw from vendors at the meets. Shipping was included, I was buying tights at the time and they combined the shipping for them.

Keep in mind there are two catagories. 1. The production "national style" singlets that the wrestling supply companies are selling. These are not rare, but are cool. There are also many "knock off" singlets on ebay and the like. There is nothing wrong with these singlets and they are generally cheaper but you will see more kids wearing them. 2. This type are Authentic "national team" singlets that other states have had made for their actual competitors. Some of these are rare, and the kids that are true collectors wants ones nobody else has. These are more expensive and more sought after by the kids when they trade at national meets, etc. These are not any better quality, just worth more. They usually go for 65-100 bucks each.
Either type can be great. It just depends on what you are looking for. If you want a true education go to one of the national meets and watch the singlet swap meet that takes place. It's amazing. I hope this helps,

I would recommend to stay away from 101Monkeys on eBay. I purchased several singlets from her in the past and then had one that just fell a part after being worn the first time. I think she has gone to a new design, after my wife told her how to stitch the singlets, but even then, no refund, just out of luck.

We have purchased material at a fabric store and had someone make the singlet. This way you know it is a one of a kind. My son's was purple/pink/black snake skin. All the kids thought it was soooo cool.

I bet that was just from a real stud wearing it that was so quick and intense in his movements that the singlet had problems keeping up.

Yea, that singlet can now be sold as a one of a kind, worn one time by an NAIA National Champion.

I bought my son's Oklahoma Sooners singlet from "pintowinbabe" on ebay. She went out of her way to overnight one to me.

If you give the person who is making one for you a singlet you already have, they should be able to make a pattern. That is what the person who made my son's did.

Does anyone know where I can find a Marine Corps Kids Singlet. I saw two different ones at Liberty Nationals, but was coaching at teh tiem and couldn't find the kids later to ask them where they got them from. Any information on this would be appreciated.
On another note, I have also seen a few white singlets that have been airbrushed with whatever design you want on them. i don't know how well they would hold up to several washings though. Does anyone have any feedback on this?

My son has a cool Iowa 2004 AAU national dual team singlet he wants to sell. It's a YM to fit about 60-80 pounds. It's the real team singlet not a "knock-off", and is a black base with white and gold running through it and IOWA across the front with several other logos. etc on it. I can get a picture to you if interested or call me 913/207-1056. $65.00

The airbrushed singlets wear well but need to be handwashed. They can't heat treat the singlet because it may damage the spandex. Several of my wrestlers had them done for state. Gonz from blue chip got us the singlets and then the parents had them airbrushed. So far so good.

If anyone is interested in the air brushing, contact me, I have a contact in SE Kansas who does it and does a great job. He is really reasonable to.
