Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion Kids Folkstyle Grater Wrestling Camp

The Clay County Wrestling Club will be hosting the "Wrestling for a Grater Reason" summer wrestling camp with Danny Grater as the clinician in Clay Center, August 3-6, 2006.

Sessions will run from 3-5:00 pm for the novice wrestlers and 6-8:00 pm for the more experienced wrestlers.

Camp will include instruction on wrestling technique, preparation of mental toughness, weight training and learning how to properly maintain (eating the correct way), live wrestling, and learning what it takes to become the best you can be.

Cost: $50 per wrestler – limited to first 50 paid campers. All wrestlers must be a current member of USA Wrestling. Wrestlers will also be given a goal sheet, t-shirt, and shorts.

PLEASE NOTE: Camp entry needs to be received by July 20 to guarantee t-shirt and shorts.

First of all, this camp is open to all wrestlers who are current members of USA Wrestling (not just CCWC wrestlers). We are more than happy to have wrestlers from around the State attend.

I've received some phone calls this week and someone has been telling people, our camp is full - NOT TRUE!! WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING WRESTLERS!!!

As a friendly reminder, we would like to have camp registrations by July 20th. This will guarantee you a t-shirt and shorts DURING the camp. We will still accept registrations after that date, but to guarantee you the shirt/shorts during the camp, we would like to have the entries in advance.
