I want to let everyone know that people are showing a lot of interest in this tournament. We have received several emails, and our web site is getting a lot of activity.

Last year the event had a different name, and drew wrestlers from six states (IA, NE, SD, MN, KS, and WI). We are hoping for more states this year.

I know Kansas has some excellent wrestling. I hope you consider this event, and come represent your state!

1 minute periods is awful short for 12U and up. It will take away from some good wrestling at that level. I know 1 1/2 periods add to the overall time of the tournament, but if this is being promoted as a top regional event, it needs to change this.

Because of a confusing registration form we are extending our pre-registration period.

- Registrations received at the PO Box on Friday morning will be accepted.

- On-line registration will remain open until Friday at Noon.
