The Emporia Kids club is still taking registrations for the "King of the Mat" Tournament on Sunday. Any pre-registration before weigh-in will be $20.00 and includes a t-shirt. Registration at weigh-in is $25.00 and will include a t-shirt as long as supplies last.

There are not many opportunities for pre-season wrestling in this area and I thought there was a huge need.

This is your last change to compete before the start of the season.

Will it be possible to email in entries along with a credit card number? That might help with the short notice. I am in Western Kansas speaking on the date of this tournament and hope to find a ride there for Nathan. Any help appreciated. Let's suppport this tournament, I know I appreciate anything in Kansas that makes it possible for our high school wrestlers to get in some pre season work. Take Down tournaments are a blast and anyone getting mat time will come out ahead because of it.

I agree with you. There are very few opportunities to get in pre-season mat time. This sounds like fun. Matt and I will be there. I would encourage anyone that doesn't have other plans to sign up. Coach Buckbee is still accepting registrations!
