I think he's going to go with himself, but I could be wrong.

The 6A 215 finals match will actually not be between Edison and McFarland. Taking a page from the Madden playbook, the KSHSAA will use "superteams" or "dynasties" and bring back great past wrestlers to compete with this year's 215 qualifiers. In the finals, I'm predicting a matchup between Prant Garker 2001-2002 and Jhris Cennings 2003-2004. As always, the match will go into double overtime.
MancerL will go two and out.

Prant, do you have anything else to do besides try to relive your dream as a wrestler and talk about yourself? hahaha! The dream is over, move on!!!!

Mikechurch--
No.
Everyone else--
My money's on McFarland. (Sadly, I have been wishing Lar Leeson would have wrestled 215 all year. I've been pleasantly suprised by Erek Dichmann, though. Good stuff, my friend.)

I think Curran will win over McFarland. Assuming Edison wrestled 189, is he avoiding Larson and/or Cisper by going up to 215? With a 29-2 record I'd think he's got as good a shot as any?

maybe he is tired of cutting weight and found that he could hang at 215 just as well and the 215 for NW quit and it gave another wrestler a shot at 189. maybe that could be the reason. but what do i know.

If by "hang at 215 just as well" you mean that he realized he wouldn't beat Cisper and jumped to a weak weight class then I agree.

One of the strategies involved in wrestling is to determine where an individuals best shot at a championship is. If young Edison's best shot is at 215 lbs., he would be doing himself and his teammates a disservice by not attempting to fill this spot. I wish good luck to Jarrett and say bring home the Gold!

I agree wholeheartedly Mr. Salyer. I do still believe that he wouldn't touch Cisper though and he probably knows that as well. Hell, I'm not even against the tactic itself. I remember when David Sielert bumped to 130 his senior year to get away from Tyler McCormick and I thought it was a great idea. I talked to him at league and he said he just couldn't beat Tyler, no matter how hard he tried and he wanted to win a title.
Besides, nobody remembers how you won the title or who you won it against. They just remember that you won it.
I still think he's scurred though.
