Being a heavyweight wrestler in 321A last year, I know that there is a lot of good competition this year. I agree with people who say that Honas and Sprigg are the best, because they probably are. I wrestled Honas last year and lost 2-1, so I know how tough he is. But along with Sprigg and Honas, I think Mark Barnes from TMP-Marian has a shot and winning state this year as well. He's a senior, but nobody has heard of him, because he had an arm injury his sophomore year, and has not wrestled since then. He's fast, so he doesn't wrestle like a typical heavyweight, and he's strong as a frickin bull. Last week I believe he benched 345. I think with 3 strong, fast heavyweights, Honas, Sprigg, and Barnes, this years state heavyweight bracket will be exciting to watch.
