How is Josh's arm doing. I watched him at the 6A State Football Championship game and he seemed to be in some pain. Heard that he might have surgery and not be able to wrestle this season. (??)

It is a tough question. Iam going to say Staab just for the heck of it (from Plainville) Carroll is a stud and you can;t take anything away from his back to back titles but he is a little too defensive for me to think he is the best wrestler. He may be the toughest though.

for the western kansas people I will throw a name out that may compete with staab for a state title and that is Luke Page from Prarie View. I dont know who I would say is the best though.

it will be a good match if they meet. Page is probably better on his feet and that could be a problem for Staab.

Staab looked very tough at the Beloit tournament.

I suppose Carroll does wrestle better competition week in and week out and deserve to be considered the best. I know he lost but he has seen much better competition overall. When you see lots of good people it happens.

staab is good but he just cant compete with carroll. When Carroll had only wrestled 12 matches before losing to Bork, who has been healthy all season. It will be fun to watch Staab vs. an in-shape Carroll at East/West Classic. Carroll 9 Staab 3.

That will be intresting what happens at East/West Classic there are enough that have the possibility to be there. Staab, Carroll, Page, Bork, i am sure there are some in the middle classes but the two classes I hit there are 3-1A and 6A

I'm sorry Breese, but I would have a hard time counting Demicoli in as one of the top 215lb wrestlers in the state. If I'm not mistaken Dugan from Carroll Finished in front of him at the Carroll Invitational. Dugan was the back up for Seiler while Seiler was out injured. I don't want to take anything away from Demicoli, he is among the top wrestlers, just in my opinion, not among the best.

We will see you would be surpised. I think it would be a good match between Silier and Demicoli.

I don't believe Seiler will even have a match in 5A state this year, and if he does I doubt it will be from Demicoli.
I agree with the person earlier that said Seiler is the best in the state, although I would love to see him wrestle Bork or Carrol. However, Seiler did defeat Hemmerling from Hutch in the Newton finals, and Hemmerling won the BVNW tournament in which Bork and Carrol finished second and third.
Hemmerling is another one of those 215 wrestlers that could be considered one of the best in the state.

As far as 6A goes. Carroll is a two time champ. So what he lost. He is still the favorite. beat him again and then we will talk.

I just heard the real deal in the raw deal between Carroll and Bork. Bork Act IV. I don't think I would want to be Bork next time Carroll gets ahold of him. It kind of reminds me of a mission valley wrestler at state a few years ago. I can't remember his name but I know Baker remembers.

I think we need to stop talking about Demicoli because he's nowhere near the top wrestlers at 215 he admits so

I don't see how people can say Bork in one of the top in the state. Don't get me wrong, he is an excellent wrestler, but I don't believe he is among the elite.
