In 2002 in the consolation finals of 4a state (yes Norton was 4a that year) Michael Sprigg was major decisioned by Scott Spare of Hiawatha. Where did Spare wind up after high school?

It must be noted that Sprigg was only a freshman that year.
Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Heck Sprigg won a state title the next 3 years, so he had to be pretty good to begin with. In fact looking at Sprigg, Grater, and Taplin of the 3x champs that came out of last year, I think he finished the highest as a freshman.

I believe Sprigg was only a 2x, he lost to Ryan Honas of Ellis one time. I maybe wrong but who knows.

Maybe you're not an ugly human, but a good looking ape.....with exceptional verbal skills.

Michael Sprigg finished 4th, 2nd, 1st, and 1st.
Perhaps just as impressive is that he wrestled all four years at 275.
