Where do you see results? They are not posted in dual/tournament results.

I think there was a touch of sarcasm in Aaron's statement.

I agree, they said the brackets would be posted before the meet and nothing, the teams would be posted and nothing, and now there are no results.......

And for the last two days or so, the link to the tournament doesn't even work anymore.

By indications it was a fizzle. they don't need to be ashamed, if the kids don't go they can't force them. Please just show us some results. For all I know they might have cancelled it.

Hays wasn't a fizzle. Andover Central went. The numbers were small - no doubt about it. But at 215 my son got 5 matches. All against good kids. Manhattan, Labette County, Halstead, KC Schalagle, etc... We couldn't ask for better than that. Everyone on our team seemed to enjoy it. Must weights got between 3 and 4 matches. It was well run and we were on the road home by 4:00 p.m.. In addition the team had good practices leading up to the tournament. No lull because of no events. The kids came back after Christmas in shape knowing they had this tournament. Hopefully next year more teams will make the commitment to go. It would be a shame to waste this oppurtunity. KSHSAA rules are strict enough. We have an oppurtunity for a great event. All it needs are more wrestlers. I would like to see Andover Central come back next year.

I was worried this tourney might flop. It was held at a really tough time for most high school teams. Also, most teams were full on points when the tourney was created. I know you could hold kids out of certain tourneys to make up for sending some to this tourney, but several coaches decided against this in the spirit of "team"

It will be something to build upon. It is something that Kansas better not slip through their hands. I'll bet that it will grow and be a premier event in a couple years. Also what better venue for colleges to scout for prospects.

I too just want to hear the results, it sounded like quite a few schools attended like Abilene and Andover Central to name a few. I know Kansas City area is having a team formated tournament next year open to all schools in and out of Kansas that might do well because of the team concept in points.
