Who's gonna win it? I know this question was asked once earlier, but now that regionals is over, and we see how the brackets sit, who is the favorite? The contenders? The dark horse? And who will play the spoiler roll? I'm gonna go with KC Turner as the favorite. 14 guys qualified and they sit pretty well on the brackets. Ark City is the contender with 11 guys who qualified. To qualify 11 of your wrestlers out of that regionals is an accomplishment in itself. If they're not all banged up at state then they could very quickly sneak away with the title. Campus is the dark horse this year. They have their studs obviously, but the crucial factors are going to be how Zavala, and the heavyweight come out. The turning point of the tournament for them could come at 152. Barring major upsets, Anderson and Bailes will square off agian in a rematch of last years finals. Campus wins that, it puts them right in the mix for the title. The spoiler has to be Bishop Carrol. With only 7 guys who qualified, I just don't think they have the man-power to win it all. But they pull the right wins in the right spots, it will open the door up for any team to take this tourney away. That's my thoughts folks, what does everyone else think?

Couple of things for you to consider Tiltin:
1.Zavala did not qualify, he was beat out in the consolation semifinals by the kid from Liberal. They'll have at least 3 in the finals, maybe 4 if Chrisman can sneak through, but their back side points are few and far between. Count them out??? Absolutely not, just may be a bit of a stretch.
2. Carroll qualified 8 wrestlers, not 7. Is that enough to make the difference, no one knows, but we'll see on Saturday night. Could have 3 or 4 in the finals with back side help from the other 4 or 5. Oughta make things very interesting.

Obviously Turner is sitting pretty with 14 qualifiers. Shawnee Heights had a good regional and qualified 11 or 12 so you can't count them out. There are several teams that are going to be a factor in who comes out on top on Saturday.
