Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Why did it happen?!?! (KC. P.)

Many of you may not know it, but a wrestling hero died this weekend, in a terrible car wreck.Many of you would know him as Casey Palmer, to us it was just KCP. Him, his girlfriend(Chris Jaderborg) and her little sister(Candice Jaderborg) were comming back to Abilene from cleaning a church in Enterprise. A drunk driver ran a stop sign, and hit them on dec 14 aprox. 9:45 p.m. Casey was flown to witchita and was pronounced dead the next morning.Chris has just got out of the Abilene hospital and is doing better this afternoon.But Candice is in the Witchita hospital, and is trying to do better.(she isnt doing too good.)They had to cut the top of Chris's car off to get them out.Casey was a very good wrestler, he graduated a year in the spring of 01. He was a state qualifer, and 1 hell of a guy. We are not sure when his funeral is, but we think it is sometime on thursday or friday.Please pray for his family, and friends.

How tragic. I remember Casey from the first time we faced Abilene in the Wamego tournament in December of 2000. Like the rest of the Cowboy wrestlers, he was a good kid and a class act. Our prayers and the prayers of all of us in the Maur Hill wrestling family go out Casey's family, as well as to Chris and Candice and their family. Please keep us all posted as to Candice's progress.

Hey Jeff, thanks for being concerned. Candice is in Witchita, shes in ICU. She has internal bleeding in her stomach, cut liver, bruised kidneys, and her lungs collapsed but they are building back up again. And for KCP..hes going to always going to be remembered forever! he was so nice to everyone. and ill always love him. Candice is progressing, she opened her eyes today! thanks for caring..

Glad to hear that Candice is doing better. It's so tragic that her family, Casey's family and all of their friends have to go through this difficult time at this time of year. But with friends like you, they'll all get through.
