not to burst anyone's bubble, but TOC is the second best tournament going on in KS this weekend. I'd love to see these two great tourneys on a different weekends so fans could see both the Bobcat and TOC.

Glenwood, IA is second ranked in their class and they have 4 undefeated wrestlers on their roster with at least 19 wins (5 returning state placers). Could that challenge? I do believe that the TOC is tougher this year, but the Bobcat is a lot of fun also.

Brendon Lund (Clay Center) is 160 this year, and you forgot Cole Garcia (Colby) is going to be there at 140. Haha and I love my new last name, it's spelled Hoshaw if you wanted to know.

This should be a good tournament with one of our top 2A teams being there. Good luck to Perry.

More depth in each weight class at TOC. But the quality of Champions from both tournaments - That would be one dual I would like to see.

Newton will be an extremely tough tournament as it usually is. The only problem with all of the rankings that Chewie listed is that it was based off of faulty rankings. Fitzgerald and Shea from Manhattan have graduated, and I believe the 6A team rankings still have STA as #1 when they are actually 5A this year, so I am not for sure if Manhattan is ranked 3rd or not. I also believe that Furches will be in the mix at 103, The Wagners, Miller, Hoshaw, Petty, Shoenfeld, Eichman, Monroe, Andrus for Manhattan will also have a chance.

Good Luck to all and Go Hat Town! Win it Hrett!

I knew some of the rankings were messed up. I think most of them are accurate though. I don't know how I forgot to put Furches on their.

I think you might need to put the bishop lynch kid first of the class at 160 he will dominate any of his opponents there.

The seeding meeting is Fri morning. Supposedly they only spend 10 minutes per weight class- I am interested to see how that works! I think I would prefer it to spending 5 minutes fighting over 4 & 5 seeds like some coaches like to do!
