I was just wondering why all the sudden did Joel Eberhart jump from ranked 6th to 2nd. Did he beat somebody great or what?

It must be REALLY important in SE Kansas. Everyone relax. Eberhart is a former placer. Yes I know he lost to Barrett by one point the first tournament of the year, which is how Barrett got ranked in the first place. Geez, by some of your definitions, Villanova should be the second ranked D1 basketball program in the country. Sorry, but I only go on the information given to me. Remember, Coach DeWitt and all other coaches involved in the ranking process prepare the ranking as a VOLUNTEER SERVICE to all participants and fans.
Rankings is not an exact science, but only a best guess at any point in time. The final point in time will be at the State Tournament where all will be settled on the mat.
