Anyone know the details of the Strawn/Cisper match? That must have been a good one.

Strawn took down Cisper in the first. Second period there were 2 reversals. I thought Cisper was about to turn Strawn in the third with time running out. Cisper looked off to me, but credit Strawn for the win, he did a heck of a job.

More than that, STA had a grest showing as a team defeating Emporia by 100 points.

Where did this Starcher kid come from? He dominated Maime which surprised the heck out of me.

Starcher was ranked #2 last year at like 140 or 145 and then did not do well at state. He only weighs about 165 or so, but he seems to be the real deal. He is a heck of an athlete, doesn't freestyle or anything, but he beat Wiscome last year I think.

You have a match on your hands then, because he whipped a good wrestler in Maime. Maime did all he could not to get teched.

No offense to Maime, but he's not even close to the level that Wiscombe is at. He's having a good year, but who of consequense has he faced? Haven't Metcalf and Erisman been the only two guys to beat you in the past two years Justin?

Last year I lost to Erismen in the league finals, turned around and beat him in the semis and lost to metcalf in the state finals in a similar match from the bobcat classic except the other way around i couldn't hold him down in double overtime. I have never heard of Jed Mamie but my coach has told me some good things about him. I am always pulling for the freestylers unless i am against them I am sure he is a good wrestler and good luck to both starcher and him.

I said I THINK he beat Wiscombe. I stand corrected. Good luck to both.
