Tell me some of your guys's thoughts about who would win that match. I saw that Furches lost this weekend and was ranked 9th in the USA. I dont know how but just from perspective i think hase looks better and is better than furches. Hase was ranked #19 in the US last week what happened. He hasnt lost hes been killing his competition.

Collin Hase WBF over Nathan Furches
thats what i think

I dont think Either of them win by fall. Ive seen both of these wrestlers wrestle like, Cael Sanderson before, Ive also not only witnessed but been in a match were both of these wrestlers wrestle like it was their first tournament. They both have credintials. I honestly think that it would go either way 4-5 or 6-7. Personally knowing both of these wrestlers I think that It would be a good match, because they both have different styles.

I actually hate threads like this for obvious reasons. Collin is a great kid and a great wrestler. Thanks to Scarecrow and Mustangcat for your comments about Nate, and Scarecrows positive comments about Collin, I know Collin enough to know that he likely has nothing to do with the comments mentioned above. I will say there is the Wichita Classic at the end of the year and kids state of which Nathan will be at both and he would welcome any competition at the 105 pound bracket. He has always been willing to wrestle whoever, and for those that know him they know he hasn't cut more than a couple of pounds for national tournaments of which he has done quite well. Collin Hase is a great kid and the two wrestled together on the Kansas team this last summer. Nathan lost to a very good kid at Derby that has victories as mentioned above over Eric Grajales, Laddie Rupp, and Zeke Hofer, all national level kids. He has also this year beaten several great kids including an Oklahoma State Champion and a National Freestyle Greco Champion. Of course that preseason / HS season combined record of 44-2 with 39 pins or tech falls don't mean much, especially in 3 of those Oklahoma tournaments we had him wrestling up to 112. Believe me, I wish as much as anyone that he could wrestle again against Bridgeford right now as does Nate. I think the results would be different, anyone who knows Nate and saw the match would likely tell you the same thing.

Mustangcat, I don't know if Collin wrestled those tournaments, I know we haven't seen him there, but he is a terrific wrestler who has done quite well. He, as well as numerous other kids in Kansas can give Nathan all he can handle and beat him on any given day, of course I think the same is true for Nathan. There is Trent Cox, still in my opinion one of the most underrated 103 wrestlers in the country. There is also Keller from Bishop Carroll who is a great wrestler at 103, Dante Rogers from Wichita Northwest a great wrestler at 103, and even a number of wrestlers like Goodwin, Chaz Lawrence, Santiago, and even though his record don't show it right now, Ark City's Aaron Hoag. There are more than just these and I wouldn't want to slight anyone. I certainly wouldn't want to see Collin put down in any way. Again he is a great kid, and a great wrestler that both Nate and I respect and like.

Collin has represented Team Kansas on the Jr. Duals team last year and did very well. Both wrestlers are outstanding and wrestle for powerhouses in their respective divisions. Maybe their paths will cross on the mat one day but until then all is speculation.

I don't think that Hase has seen the competition that Furches has.

Silver Lake has a very tough schedule. They have Basehor-Linwood this weekend, then Beloit, then Silver Lake Inv., then County then so on from there. Both schedules compared would be about the same. Silver Lake didnt have much competition before christmas but now they do.
