Scott or Roberts vs Schmidt or Lyons, sounds like this weight class is wide open. Where is Lindsey who stood #1 in the rankings for most of the year as well as Gulick and Hickel? Both of these wrestlers held the top 3 spots for a large portion of the year. One last question, who, what and where did Scott come from? Never really heard much about him till he showed up 4th in the ratings. Now alot of you have him in the finals. What is his claim to fame?

Scott also beat Jake Stait at the Beloit tournament.

Do you recall how the match with Strait went I know Scott won but did he have to use some kind of desperation or did he control the whole match

No, Scott was winning for most of the match, Strait was sick and you could definatley tell he was out of gas, but sick or not Stait is still very tough to beat. I think Scott won by 2 or 3 points.

I didn't wanna have to post on this topic, but Jake was not sick. I talked to him the next night and he just told me he wrestled his worst match ever and lost, no excuses. The kid is an animal and is back on his game now and he will be ready Saturday night once more! Go get'em man!

I don't think enough credit has been given this year to Tanner Schmidt from Atwood. I believe he is still undefeated, and that is an accomplishment at this weight class. I seriously don't know if anyone will be able to beat him this week in Hays.

Tanner Schmidt is a great athlete. I don't know a lot about the other 321A guys in this bracket that you guys have been talking about, but Tanner has to be in the mix.
