6A this year is dominated by upper classman unlike 54321A. Only 2 freshman in 6A placed at states- Romero Cotton-1rst and Jake Tanenbaum-4th. My hats off to these two outstanding wrestlers!!!

You do know that the 6A champ in 275 was beat by the FRESHMAN from Salina Central twice this year?

AC, now common on with that. I do believe that 6A was a weaker class this year, however, overall in the past, with the exception of Ark City (1990's) 5A has was definately weaker than 6A. It is until recent times that this has changed. I believe they might be dead even now. Im not talking about the best two team, I am talking about overall competition. Probably pretty even. 6A is better at some weights, and 5A is better at some weights. Oh, and Elijah Madison is not a typical freshman. That's like saying Baldridge when he was a freshman shouldnt have beat a junior state champion at any other class. Have a great day.

Baldridge was lucky to win his freshman year. Would have lost to Cody Garcia in the finals if he hadn't been caught in that front headlock by Knox. You can't judge a class by heavyweights...ever. For the past 3 years, heavyweights have been terrible overall.

Actually I thought the heavy weights were better this year and that Salina kid is a stud. As for Baldridge beeing lucky I have to call that statement ********* ********* * **** ***** ** ** ****. Sorry I couldn't say it. No I'm glad I didn't say it.

Luck had nothing to do with Knox catching Garcia and holding him in the pinning combination almost the entire third period of that match. The famous head and arm was a favorite of young Knox and Charlie did what he had to do to win the match. In the finals, Baldridge was dominate and defeated Knox because he was the better wrestler. I challenge you to tell Jordan Bedore from Goodland or Tony Lewis from Ulysses they were terrible.

ACBULLDOG, Malloy and Sonderegger have never met. They both have close losses to wiscombe and they both pinned krahn the 5A 171 runner up. I'd like to see that match.

Tommy did not wrestle Tristan this year. He actually lost to Ben Ashmore of Bishop Lynch (Texas) and to Crumbliss of Ark City when I bumped him to 125. Both are darn good kids. The other was due to injury default.
Have a great freestyle season! Jilka
