Sounds like a great idea Ryan. If we did not have to travel 5 hours to get there I would encourage all of my wrestlers to participate. How about we meet in the middle, Norton sounds close enough.

I have contemplated the same idea in Wichita, at South High School. I wonder how many would travel in the middle in late october or early november to compete in such a tournament. I wrestled in the takedown tournament at Labette three times and have to say it was a lot of fun!

In the past we have gone to the Hillsboro Takedown tournament each year and it is has been one of the most fun tournaments of the year. A pre season take down tournament in the Wichita area would be a blast.
