Couldn't stay for all the matches but here's what I saw. Most early matches were close but don't remember exact scores.
Huck by 2 Bahe by 2 Garcia Retta by 2? Kriegbaum by 2 Prater (not close) Gilliland (not close) Coleman (not close) Hill was winning but I left during blood timeout.

Good job Daniel Prater- bring on the senior nationals!!! Looks like Gilliland is on track, as well.

Middleton's a pretty good wrestler but Prater dominated, 10-1 if I remember right.

I'm not familiar with which league every team is associated with, but I did notice the NWKL won 8 and lost 1 (Goodland 2-0, Hoxie 2-0, Oberlin 3-0, Oakley 1-0, and Scott City 0-1). A few other team totals: Manhattan 2-1, Derby 0-2, Abilene 1-1, Norton 0-2. I think all the other teams only had 1 wrestler each.
Wish I could have been there. But my wife wanted to watch KU instead.

The NWKL went 8-0. Scott City is not part of that league. Impressive results, shows how tough that league is.

excellent point rhino, but i think i like the east/west format a little better. had that been the case, it would have been rather embarrassing for the east, however it could go either way in any given year.

You are right about the west this year, bunch of great talent out there. I would like to see it go back to East/West. Maybe the West could get Jhris Cennings to be an honorary coach for them next year, being he is from the western part of the state.

But Jhris, I am a person who speaks of experience. I hear the Wwwwwpppppsssshhhhhh. every once in awhile. Get married, you might understand. But you can't marry Dingbat, that would be wrong.

Not if they move to Massachusetts. Then it's a-okay.
But their children would be way too fat. THAT would be wrong.
