This should be a great tournament to watch in nearly every weight class. Here are my predictions, what do you all think?
Team Scores: 1. Hoxie 2. Goodland 3. St. Francis 4. Colby 5. Oberlin 6. Oakley 7. Atwood 8. Quinter
103: Richard, St. Francis over Bahe, Goodland 112: DOn't know who is there ????? 119: Bahe, Goodland over Farber, Hoxie 125: Loyd St. Francis over Younkin, Oakley 130: Garcia, Colby over Schamberger, Hoxie 135: don't know who is here either ??? 140: Gilliland, Hoxie over anyone at 140 145: Schippers, Hoxie over Hilt, St. Francis 152: Schippers, Hoxie over Smull, St. Francis 160: Harman, Oberlin over 171: Ross, St. Francis over Keck, Oberlin 189: Dennis, Oakley over Keller, St. Francis 215: Horinek, Atwood over Walz, St. Francis 275: Bedore, Goodland over Klien, Atwood
This should be a good torunament and many of the weights could be won by anyone from any of the seven(not Quinter) schools. What does everyone think?

How do you put Schippers over Sharpe? Sharpe has beat him twice this year. And where is Olsen? He beat Ross and has pinned Shipley.

Kyle W, Ross got beat by Olsen in overtime the first week of the wrestling season. I guarentee you Ross will beat Olsen if they wrestle this weekend. And if Olsen is such a man why did he move up and wreslte Keller at the Colby vs. St. Francis dual instead of wrestling Ross? It's because he knows that he got lucky and thats the bottom line.

Phil, I think your picks are pretty good, but I like Tibbles to win at 103, I think the Garcia/Schamberger match is going to go right down to the end, (Good luck Cole) and I defintely will take Sharp at 152.

J. Schippers will not wrestle this week, and Shipley beat Olsen this past weekend at Beloit. When did Sharpe beat M. Schippers twice? I thought the only time he beat him was at Beloit.

Sharpe has beat M. Schippers twice this year, but I think that it is Matt's turn and he will prevail.

JB82 - You have gone to far this time. Wrestlers on our team do not have the option to move up. That is a decision made by our coaching staff. We decided to move up against St. Francis because Sainty was open at 152. The open at 152 allowed us to allow a J.V. kid to take the forfeit and Sharpe to move up to 160, Wright to 171, Olsen to 189, and Kleinsorge to 215. This was done to win the dual, and if you were there you may recall that we ran the table from the bump on and won. If you understand dual wrestling at all, you should realize that coaches want their best wrestlers (like Sharpe) to wrestle rather than get forfeits because they can likely score points for you when they wrestle. I have seen the Sainty coaches make moves many times in duals to give their team the best outcome and any coach that is worth anything would do the same. And lastly, I always find it amazing that people on this forum can question the manhood of wrestlers when they won't even use their real names. How manly of you.

Colby did make a strategic move at the dual against St Francis, that is fair. I think though that 160 and 189 ended up tough matches and they were not a walk in the park for Colby, which may have suprised a few people. NWKL will be a day of great wrestling and that is where the wrestlers will prove who is the best in the league. Anything can happen. Goodluck to everyone.

171 should ge interesting. Shippley beat Olsen at Beloit. Keck did not place or was not there. Olsen beat Ross at SF tourney. Keck beat Olsen. Ross pinned Keck and manhandled Shippley.
125 Will still be the most exciting.

Keck did not wrestle at Beloit. The only reason Ross pinned Keck was because Keck pulled his hammy and stopped fight the pin
