It should be a very exciting team race with 3 possible state championship teams present in Scott City, Norton, and Hoxie. So far, though, Norton appears to have the edge over the other 2, judging by the results of the pre-Christmas tournaments.
Back in Black... and y'all are never goin' back.

I would not say Norton has the edge just because they won the two previous tournaments. I think with these three teams battling one another you could have three different outcomes every time they compete. Obviously Norton is doing some good things but to say they have the edge is a very invalid comment as all three of these teams are pretty salty. Should be great competition. Will someone please post the results shortly after the tourney is over.

What about the Cozad, Nebraska team...what do they bring to the table...I always like to know a bit more about the out of staters that come to our tournaments.

If I can remember right ....Cozad a couple brothers...Kanaan was there name, I think one of them graduated, but they were some pretty tough kids, memory is kinda bad but I think one of them beat or gave one of the Schippers from Hoxie a good go around....in the years past they have produced several tough wrestlers, had to think last year they was loaded with Seniors,so this year could be a down year.

We just moved from NE and the Kanaan brothers graduated last year. They were twins. If you go to the NE wrestling talk forum page, the Cozad lineup is there. They are listing three or four opens which is hard to believe with what they had in the past. They have always had a good kids program and I thought they would have plenty of kids to fill the spots.

update on the listing that I posted earlier. This is a list of who they thought would place at state, not a complete listing of the wrestlers. My mistake. Sorry for any confusion.
