Anybody have predictions for Newton?

does anybody know a complete list of teams that are going to be there?

I would like to see a zouzas pruser match at 135.
as far as teams go, manhattan looks pretty tough.

In my opinion i think if our team(Emporia) wrestles well we have a good chance to stay in the top 5.....in my opinion

I don't think that Wichita Heights or clay center are going to be there and Mcreary is at 130lbs. and Zousas is at 135lbs.
I think it will be a rematch between Mcreary and Lewis at 130lbs. with Mcreary winning this time, and Zousas against Henry from Augusta at 135lbs. with Zousas winning.
140lbs.-Swanson over Smith
145lbs.-Johnson over everyone

Wichita Heights is going to Newton. Valley Center is there, I think Wichita South, and Derby will be there?

clay center will be there.

I think Grater will be in the finals at 140 and Johnson from norton will be in the finals at 140 or 145 (he wrestled 145 this last weekend). Also the Sprigg kid from norton will be in the finals at 275. he is much improved this year. close from clay center should be in the finals at 125 and pruser from clay center has a good chance at 135. also bahe should be in the finals at 119 with garcia and hemmerling and bedore should be in the finals at 215. that last match should be good.

If Clay Center and Heights will be there I want to change my predictions to at
135lbs.- Zousas over Hill
140lbs.- Grater over Manion

Jordan Bedore of Goodland will make some noise at 215 - as I think he will be in the finals and that he will give Hemmerling a run for his money.

whoever said frandin in the finals is crazy. and bedore is good but hemmerling wont be beaten this year.

i think you guys are underestimating bedore, he is a heck of a wrestle, so is hemmerling but i'm just say nothing is a given i think this match could go either way but if these 2 do meet it will be a good one to watch

Does anyone know what time the finals start for the Newton tournament.

on the predictions above, there is another mistake, Kosko from emporia dropped down to 152lbs. Thats what he was at this past weekend

i agree, bedore is amazing, but i know that hemmerling is the best out there at 215 and has an amazing shot.

Hey hasbeen! Since when does Kansas have a 150 pound weight class? Also, if Close is in the finals, then Annon will be in the finals beating him. 'Nuff said.

I think maybe he's just saying that because he got worked by Hemmerling....

And whoever said Frandin will be in the finals IS crazy. I'm pretty sure Junction isn't there. (At least they weren't last year.)

Finally, does anyone know if Hemmerling bends his knees when he wrestles? Is he able to bend them, or does he only fold at the waist?

sorry for my mistakes with weights. I meant 152 not 150. i also threw in some incorrect wrestlers at incorrect weights it looks like. I was just trying to get the topic rolling. I haven't seen anyone else put in their picks for every weight. let's see some more predictions!
