By adding up the place points scored by each region where 1st = 16, 2nd = 12, 3rd = 9, 4th = 7, 5th = 5, and 6th = 3, the breakdown appears as follows...

Garden City scored 283 points
Wichita North scored 186 points
Olathe South scored 130 points
St. Thomas Aquinas scored 127 points

Following this same point system, the regions won the following weight classes...

Garden City won 103, 112, 130, 140, 145, 152, and 171
Wichita North won 119, 160, and 275 (tie)
Olathe South won 189, 215, 275 (tie)
St. Thomas Aquinas won 125 and 135

and this means....?????????????????????
is there a point or argument or is this just a stats fetish?

They are just interesting statistics that show which region(s) may be tougher.
I'm certain that, with a few exceptions, if state were wrestled again next week, things would be different.
