What does everyone think about Bogart/Johnson? I haven't seen much of Bogart, and I know Johnson pretty much handed it to Smith of Dodge City at Newton.

'Tis a puzzlement.

How can you pick someone over Strait a three time state champion? Well I guess we'll have to see what happens

If Lyons' beats Richardson, I wonder if he will imitate the celebratory gestures that he exercised after the 321A 189 championship match. I was awestrucken by his creativity. It beat assorted numbers of fingers in the air anyday.

Someone ask how can you pick someone over Strait. Did this person watch the Weishire/Strait match? Its easy if you watched Strait at state. He stalled in the Wieshire match and in the finals and the refs called it all his way!!! I like Lyons he is a great kid however I do think Richardson will win. Its too bad they did not select Weishire to go... Lyons already went to The Metro Classic. AFter a great season ending on question calls he deserved to be selected.

I watched the first Drennan/Leudke match. This should be a great one. I'd pick Drennan if he's in shape. Running out of gas appeared to have cost him last time.

Cat...You must not have won a state championship before otherwise you would understand that the jubilation of joy is neither theatrics or imitation. I also hope that your thread was not written as sarcasim but if it was it was in very poor taste. If you knew Phillip you would know that he is not a showboater and would not imitate anything that he does not truly feel. He is a good kid and winning was the highlight of his high school wrestling. So, do not attempt to create a negative atmosphere regarding the joy of winning. It is totally uncalled for and very childish.

He didn't do anything out of the ordinary. He acknowledged his family and that was it. I know because I was sitting with his uncle.
