I saw the most disgraceful display of sportsmanship today at Andover. Danny Deshazer a coach from TOHK got in a 14 year old wrestlers face after he beat one of his wrestlers and told him that they were going to beat his *** next week. He never once extended his hand for a hand shake. Luckily, Eck Dad and coaches were able to contain theirselves and walk away with the win. If this behavor is allowed to continue, it will get out of control. The wrestler that was beaten was very gracious though this is not to reflect on him or his ability. If they could use Danny for his wrestling knowlege and leave his ignorance at home, he would be an asset. We know thats not possible so lets get him away from our kids and our sport.

Same old story...there is always a certain lack of class and a certain abundance of poor sportsmanship exhibited from various individuals...not just Deshazer. The reason it reflects poorly on the clubs that are represented is because those clubs continue to leave the same poor sports in coaching roles year after year. These guys are the bad apples...club officials should have the guts to either take control of the bums or dump them. And if the club won't do it, and parents care about the example being set for their kids, they should find a new club for their kids.
