Congratulations to everybody on here that has graduated recently or will graduate soon. I'm sitting here on my last day with no finals to take, and I thought I'd share the love. Peace.

Fellows graduation is great, but it is also tough. Lesson I learned; make sure you say what you want and need to to your coaches, teachers and friends. I didn't and it took my first 10 year reunion to make sure I let my coach know I appreciated all he had done for me. It is still one of the best things I ever did. My coach, Coach Francis died a few years ago and it wasn't until I coached myself that I realized how much he really gave. That, along with telling one teacher a few years later that she was wrong about me, being a jerk in H.S.is something I am grateful I did. Even let the bad ones know what you think but make sure you do it after graduation and delivery of Diploma and grades need to know their shortcomings. Your mistakes don't have to cary over out of H.S..

Congrats to all of the seniors, especially the ones I have gotten to know, one I really appreciate guys at Derby, Kelly and Kyle Heincker, and Daniel Smith. To Daniel I would say thanks for one of the greatest and best moments in my coaching life up to this point. Coaching you at Kids State last year was better than even my top 10 nationally ranked High School Soccer team in North Carolina. I didn't think anything would top that, but the reminder of what sport is all about will last a life time.

Last note, seniors, now is the time to take away the lessons taught you from wrestling, they will carry you a long way.

I was out of school way back on May 14th and I had the ceremony on Tuesday. It's been great. But congrats to all you guys too.
