Yea, he lost to Luke Hetzen from maize due to an illegal slam, then he lost to some kid his second match.

Oh snap.

It was really funny how the kid from Maize suddenly got better once Johnson was DQ'd. I saw him up in the stands getting high 5's for his victory not looking injured at all. Maize must have a great swimming program cause their kid sure knew how to take a dive. I believe he did not win a match he actually had to wrestle.

The rule for an illegal slam is a good rule to protect the wrestlers. There were alot of inconsistant calls from the officiating crew. If a kid is hurt bad enough to stop the match because he can't continue, then he should also forfiet his next match for safety reasons or get a release from a Doctor. This was obused at least two times on the 6A mats that I observed.

i absolutly hate the illegal slam rule, yea its fine if the kid is actucally hurt but if they are then they couldnt continue anyway, i dont see the point, and for johnson after that match he was real pissed and then i dont think cared. but for the maize kid, he better hope that he is a senior and if he isnt dont wrestle the same weight as johnson next year.
