These two eight graders: Marvio Tischhauser, winner of six straight State titles, and Jared Hensley, winner of three straight State titles. I believe they have both won National championships too. The problem that both of them might face in achieving the four straight high school championships would be that they are both going to be at average to above average weight classes in high school and will be facing more juniors and seniors in their freshman year. These are the two that I know of around my son's age and weight group that I would say have the best chance to win four high school titles in a row.

hey.......i think that dustin moses has an excellent chance......but the only problem with that is that he is an above average weight.....and will be wrestling seniors and juniors as said above with marvio which is a very good point.......but with how big these kids get we dotn really want them to cut much weight while they are still growing to be such big kids but yes liek i said i beleive he has the ability to be a 4 timer

Because of the fact that the freshmen wrestlers will be facing more juniors and seniors at the higher weight classes, you have to give the lighter weight classes the best chance of in reality becoming a 4 time State Champion. One wrestler now who has to be given some consideration is RJ Nill of St. Thomas Aquinas High School who is undefeated at 112 this year. He just won The Bobcat Wrestling Classic, which is one of the best tournaments of the year.
The odds of this happening are pretty low, I would think even for a very successful Freshman wrestler like RJ Nill at this point of his Freshman year. I would say he has about a 15% chance at this point. If he would win his first year, I would automatically increase his chance to 50%. Then if he goes on to win Sophomore year, I would give him a 75% chance. If he would then win his Junior year, I would give him a 90% chance to complete the feat in his Senior year. The best I would give anyone's chance going into his Freshman year would be 5 to 10%. For instance if Jared Hensley and Marvio Tischhauser win another State title this year as eight graders against the returning high school Freshmen, I would put their chances at 10%. I am saying RJ is at 15% right now because so far this season he has more than proven himself against some very good high school competition.

I think Matt Gilland will do it for Hoxie this year, as for the kids not in HS yet someone put Slyter (which was a triple crown winner) but the VanTrece kid seems pretty sharp now as well.

KCWrestlersMom posted this on the high school forum this week: Sad news. R.J. Nill had a torn meniscus. He had surgery today, they were able to successfully repair it. He will be on crutches three to four weeks, but unfortunately will be out for the season. He should be able to return to normal sports activities in three to four months.
Best wishes to R.J. for a speedy recovery, and congratulations on his great season! I had mentioned RJ Nill above as having a 15% chance at the time of my post of accomplishing the feat. At that time he was undefeated in his freshman year and had won several big tournaments. He lost two matches at another big meet after I made my post so I would have lower his chances to 5% after the losses. Still the possibility of injury also shows how difficult it can be to win four in a row. I know Adam Venegas of Olathe North last year appeared to be a sure thing to win his second 6A Heavyweight title in a row as he was enjoying an undefeated Senior year. Unfortunately he also was injured warming up with another wrestler the night before the State meet started. It is fun to speculate about it but practically it is very difficult to do no matter how good they are.

Rhett flood from indy has a very legitimate shot if he keeps up the work ethic he has going right now. He should be a 119lb or 25lb freshman....
