It is official, although belated, that Sir Prant Garker is officially a man. Yes, he has been "the man" when it comes to witty banter, oppressed causes and spelling bees. But, legally, he is now a Man. Happy Birthday, Prant!

But has he had a hair-raising experience?

At our age, that's a hair-LOWERING experience! Always a joy to hear from you, Brother Randy. Here is hoping that the FFF's, the BUB's, and all of the wonderful characters from days past return to our beloved forum.

... and speaking of lowering ones hair ... I am sitting here listening to In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida ... and burning my thumb on my bic!

And clearly, chewie has a good recommendation!

One of my co-workers has In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida as his answer tone on the cell phone. During some really boring meetings, I try to call his cell phone, stealthily, to get some folks to "chill"...it still works!!

Right on, Chewie, and notify your next of kin!

I keep telling the drummer at church that we need to work up the song for worship. In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida that is.

For an old guy, and yes I am that, I can barely do a "BM" by myself let alone IM, TM or VM without my kids help. Show your elders a little compassion...besides, we don't "hear" so well after all those years of music.

yea pirate, you have about as much fun as Nigel. Let the old guys chat all they want, It's amazing they can even use a computer and this "new-fangeled" internet.

I wanted to send a belated "thank you" for my belated birthday wishes. You guys are true peaches.

And no, I didn't have a 'hair-raising experience.' I actually had dinner prepared for me by a lovely lady (who has at one point or another punched FatBat in the balls), ate a cake sent to me by mi madre and drank a HeeeHaw on the beach. It was a good time.

I also slam dunked a basketball.

My own brothers have yet to wish me a happy birthday.

Thanks, KurseNS.

More importantly, happy belated Kansas Day, everyone.

Yesterday she turned 145, but she doesn't look a day over 115.
