Doesn't matter who wins. 5A is better.

Dingbat

I started in the 10 grade for salina central 5a i won 1 match all season at REG i was one match away from going to sate because there were only 5 in my bracket.

Is there anybody in 4a that can say they only had 5 men in there bracket at reg

The guy i pinned for 3rd my senor year told me after the match he pinned the 5a state champ
That means that year your 5a 215 champ would not have placed in 4a

I think you need to go back to sleep and keep right on a dreaming.

My sophomore year I was in 5a and my bracket at regionals had 6 people in it. Me and one other guy had a winning record made it to state while a .500 guy and a guy who after regionals was over achieved a 1-20 record also qualified too. There is was too many sub-par guys in 5a and somewhat so in 6a that make it whereas in 4a you have to be at least pretty good.

5a doesnt touch 4a

skelly's right. over my years watching the state tournament, i noticed only a few losing records in the 4a brackets, while the 5a and sometimes 6a brackets were filled with them. i'll admit, Turner and Manhattan may be the best 2 teams in the state, but after awhile the teams drop off. when 5a and 6a are good, they're really good. But in 4a, there are several great teams, even more good teams, and some more teams that deserve respect. the 16 man brackets in 4a regionals are much tougher to get through than 5a 8 mans

Man, I didn't think anyone would think I was serious...Of course 4a is tougher. 5A is the scab on the underbelly of Kansas Wrestling. A couple picks are nice, but after that it just starts to ooze.

Congrats, Aquinas!
