Some tournaments are very good about getting their results posted in a timely fashion and it's very much appreciated. But what about the others who don't? I think if you're going to have a tournament that you're allowed to post on the Ks Wrestling website calendar, you should be required to post the results within a few days!

Ditto. I understand that it is very time consuming and that not everyone has internet access. But, I would venture to guess that every tournament director knows someone that has internet access. I would also dare to say that the director knows someone who has a spare couple of hours to put the results. So, I would encourage the directors to ask for help if you don't have the time or access, PLEASE!

I think maybe we should MANDATE that tournament post their results... it would also help at the sub-district seeding meeting.

I think it really stinks that not only will they post the results but they don't even rturn a phone call or an email reguarding results they simply ignore all the people who went to the tounaments and gave there $$$ to support them. (topeka Tonado)

I feel that if clubs dont post the results people need to think twice about attending that event the next year. Then when the club that sponsors the event starts making less money off the tournament maybe then they will find the time to post the results.

Mill Valley will post our results as soon after our tournament as we can. I also like to take these results to the seeding meeting to help with a few decisions during seeding.

Thank you to both Maize and Gardner-Edgerton for posting so quickly this weekend's results. Well planned and executed, we appreciate it. Special recognition should be given to all the volunteers from all of the tournaments that post results.

We are certainly way ahead of Missouri in this regard. They do not have a separate results section for their in-season or even qualifying tournaments (only their actual State tournament). Any posting before their State tournament appears to be only done in their forum section. They had their first qualifying tournaments this past weekend and their forum section is loaded with people seeking results from their various districts. So even though we would like all tournaments in Kansas reported sooner, we do have better reporting than Missouri.

Missouri is the worst state that I have seen as far as posting results. However because they choose to do a poor job does not excuse Kansas for doing the same. All in all the Kansas WEBSITE is a fantastic site I suppose part of the reason I am raising such a stink is because these were the only two KS tournaments that my son was in are two of the few not posted. If I offended anyone I assure you that was not meant and I apologize.

Proudofmy8, I think it is okay to register a complaint about a tournament not posting results. I have done it before. There are several big tournaments including the two that you mentioned in another topic that have not yet posted and hopefully will do so soon. I just wanted to give praise to tournaments and volunteers who are making it a priority and deserve our recognition. And I also wanted to point out that even though some of our tournaments can do better that we do have quite a few that have done a good job with it especially in comparison to some other states.

I just noticed that Wichita, Mill Valley and Parsons have all posted their results from this weekend already. Thank you to those responsible. That is incredibly prompt. Most of us would like to see every tournament post that way but we have to appreciate what we have in Kansas. Go to Missouri's site and you will marvel at the difference. I believe we have had about 34 tournaments post this year since December vs. 24 last year by my count. We are really getting to be very good with this. Kansas tournaments are doing great. Congratulations and thank you to all responsible including Mike Juby and anyone else who is responsible for setting up our site to accomodate this type of timely reporting. This is great!
