So are you the real Jeff Peterson? I'm confused now... are we all just pretending to be this guy?

Hope is west of Herington, East of Abilene, and South of Chapman. They were 8 man champs last year and this past season were 12-1 or something like that before falling to the #1 team in the state...they are doing a coop with Herington this year by my understanding. I thought Cottonwood Falls was Chase County, but I may be wrong

I have a question... Why does Fredonia get to host: a 4a track regional (2002), a 3a track regional (2004), a 3-2-1a wrestling regional (2005) AND a 3a basketball substate (2005) all so close to each other?

...probably because they have a support service and staff that wants to and is willing to host regional tournaments.

I never been there but they must have nice facilities and an administration that will apply for these events and dedicate their time to running them well. I could be wrong, but I think sometimes the number of valid candidate schools that apply to host this stuff are limited.

There often seems to be no real rhyme or reason as why the KSHSAA asks schools to host certain events. . . The administration at a certain school may be "in favor' with the KSHSAA administration, the hosting school may actually be centrally located for the schools assigned to the regional/substate, they may have excellent and/or new facilties, they may be willing to host an event that is not popular with other schools in that area, etc. etc. etc.

Minneapolis was at the far west regional last year in Norton--how many wrestlers qualified for state? Beloit will be easier than the WaKeeney regional, but more difficult than the other two.
