Rumor has it Wayne Jackson will be back at the helm in AC next year. Can anyone confirm this?

I saw Hovey at the Saferite / Silvis wrestling clinic at Augusta two (2) weeks ago tonite, and he was unaware of any successor named to the position.

If true, Jackson has several talented wrestlers returning, Crunbliss, Tenant, Anstine.

Perhaps Josh Bain, former Ark City wrestler who attends UCO will provide an update.

In Mid-May I did hear that Coach Jackson was approached with the offer to return but I was told that he refused. I do not know if he has reconsidered now or what.
I talked with Coach Buckbee and some other AC coaches and x wrestlers about the situation at hand and what they thought was best but probably isnt going to happen. I know that there has been an applicant for the position of wrestling coach/science teacher that Buckbee would leave behind. If this is the best thing for AC, i'm not sure. I guess only time will tell.

You are right though, whoever takes over next season has one set of a highly talented senior class. With the potential of 4-5 finalists.

If I hear of more that I can report i'll let you all know.
