He's not a freshman, but sophomore, Josh Weaver from Augusta showed great improvment last season and in my mind has great potential for the upcoming season.

Oh snap.

Yea he is lucky that Matt Noblet isnt a freshman this year cause henson would be in some trouble but henson is a great wrestler. He will do some damage this year.

I'm not sure what grade he is in, he might still be in middle school, but Jared Hensley from Rose Hill, I think will be good.

Jared Hensley is in 8th grade this year. Has only lost one match in two years and that was at Nationals in the Finals, lost by one point. He has won State the last three years and a National Title, the only problem with him is he doesn't want to wrestle.

The last two years his father and I have talked him into it. So I don't know how much longer that will work? He is an excellent tailback in Football and will probably be Rose Hill's backup on varsity next year as a freshman?

I don't want to take anything away from Jared he is truely a talented wrestler. One of the best in the state, however, he didn't go undefeated year before last.

That's too bad, but you can only push so far then it becomes the athlete's decision. I hope he stays with wrestling, but if he doesn't, that's okay too.

Trevor Leahy from De Soto. Probably at 112 or 119. He placed 6th at Tulsa last year and has a couple KS kids state championships.

Joe Schridde of Great Bend will be pretty desent this year. He lost 3 matches last year in middle school and kids. He beat AJ Heckle from Ulysses both times they wrestled. He is very dedicated and with his brothers help (former state champion Mike Schridde) I think he will become a very good wrestler.
