I hear that shawn silvis, who wrestled for augusta, is now doing really good at UCO.. does anyone know anymore about how hes doing?

Shawn was 25-2 last time I checked. He's wrestling 165 and was awesome in the two tournaments I saw him in this year.

I personnally know that Shawn is one of a handful of wrestlers from KS on the UCO team. Shawn is currently ranked #1 in the Nation in D2 and his old high school teammate Chris Saferite is ranked 5th in the Nation. Both have qualified for the National tournament being held this weekend in Kenosha, Wisconsin. :p

Shawn Silvis won the NCAA Division II Championships tonight with a 3-2 decision. Chris Saferite, also from Augusta, finished second in the NCAA Division II tournament. Chris was pinned at the 4:12 mark of the bout. Congratulations to both of these Augusta/Kansas former State Champions.
