Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Schenk vs. Gardner

Was anyone watching the Jake Schenk and Jake Gardner match in the finals of the 3-2-1a Beloit Regional? It was a very good match and both men worked hard but I was very surprised when Schenk came out on top! Gardner had only had one loss the whole year and he was a big favorite, but he couldnt seem to take down Schenk. I guess it just wasnt Gardners day. Good luck to both men in state!

a very good match and i thought there were allot of very good finals matches. probably alot of repeats for this coming weekend.

ok all i got to say about the wrestling match between gardner and schenk is,,, well it was a good match but gardner got screwed out of at least 4 points that would have sent him on to defeat schenk. and yes i was there for all of u that are wondering if i am just makin it up. i dont like to pick on the officials but my god they had the worst day of thier life that day for they were not makin very good calls at all...but i will admit they did have some good calls but they were either really picky on what they called or they were leniant on what they called

Gardner wasnt ripped off that match. Schenk just wrestled a better match than Gardner.
