I thought that Newell had wrestled kids state but I wasn't completely sure. I was just interested if doing kids federation gave you an advantage. We have a junior high student who had never wrestled before. He had a very good year during the jr. high season but has not had the best of luck in kids. I just wanted to give him a few "names" to give him some encouragement to keep going.

Willie Johnson of Wichita North Lost to a Stud from St. Francis at 167 lbs. for 2nd in Grand State and it was his first year wrestling. He played fungis ball his soph. & jr. years.
