Opening Ceremonies at Kansas Coliseum

The State Tournament time schedule shows a start time of 9:00 AM on Friday. Don't the opening ceremonies start earlier than that? Also I have heard the doors open at 7:30 and I also heard 8:00. Does anyone know the real scoop?

We are planning on leaving our town at 6:10, the Colliseum is only about 25-30 minutes away. I don't think we plan on waiting outside so I would have to think the doors would be open by then.

Sorry-I mean't the doors for the general public. I know the Pass Gate is open real early.
