After the showing Turner put on at the Bobcat classic where they took 2nd without Figge or Stienmetz even wrestling they would have to be the favorite to win 5A state.

After winning Newton, Bishop Carroll would have to be the favorite to win 5A.

ya, i would have to go anyone but Turner to win 5A. Stienmentz(?) is a good guy, but as a whole i'd have to say their team wrestles about as dirty as Wichita West.

ifeel fat thanks on part in my defense, but it is unclear to me as to how my team is a dity team. We don't lash out against our opponents, we don't throw elbows, we don't talk ****. We just wrestle, and try to be very aggressive. Its ok to be aggressive, but I am not sure where we are dirty

I never noticed Turner to be a "dirty" team. I had a ton of matches with one of the Kline brothers and he always wrestled hard, even though he only had one leg! Always a good sport too, I have no complaints against Turner.

Turner has a very solid team from top to bottom. I was impressed they did as well without there two studs but they were cheering their team-mate on. I never noticed anything dirty about them but they all wrestle hard and physical. Nothing wrong with that!

even though turner does have a good team i think that carroll will win 5A
and i don't think they're dirty at all, i happen to not get near as many cheap shots put on me by them as when i wrestled lancerm
I broke my toe at state... but I still got a better medal than Lancerm.

I would put a month's pay that Carroll wins 5A. Baring devastating injuries, that team wont be touched.

Turner, Carrol, Salina South, Ark City are the teams I'm putting in top 4 for 5a...South might not have finished as well as they wanted to at Newton, but I think come state they will do just fine and are being overlooked.

Turner has a very good team, and I think they have a very good shot at taking 1st in 5a,I think they may even have taken 1st no doubt in the basehor-linwood tourney but steinmetz and figge didnt wrestle, if they would have wrestled there would have been more points.

honestly, if you really wanna get down to it, both bishop carroll and kc-turner are solid. its all on how many wrestlers you qualify for state. taking a look at the regionals kc-turner has a the easier regional. that might play a big part on who wins it.

I say for state, its between Turner and Ark City. both have very good and competitive wrestlers. About Turner being a "dirty" team. I've heard rumors about things such as checking people's oil, but I talk 2 many of the Turner wreslters and coaches and I think that they just go out and wrestle as best as they can, just like any other team. I think spreading rumors and crap about a supposed "dirty' team makes it seem like you're the dirty one. Congrats to Turner on their 2nd place at Bobcat. That was a rough tournament!
