Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School what class will bonner springs be next year

I wrestle for bonner springs, but I have heard both that we will be 5a next year, and I have heard that we are going to drop to 4a next year. I was wanting to know which is true if anyone knows.

Your class will be decided from the enrollment of sophomores, juniors & seniors of next year. If you had a large senior class and a small freshman class then you might move down to 4A. You don't actually know until the numbers are in. I look for Goddard to move to 6A next year and Campus to move back down to 5A but this is all speculation until all the schools have sent in their enrollment numbers.

Bonner will indeed be on the bubble. Last fall the frehman, soph, junior classes were counted for the purpose of establishing football districts. These are the same classes that will be counted as soph, juniors, and seniors this year for other sports. Four schools were very close. Enough that with a few moving in or out any could be 4A or 5A. The four are Independence-538, Bonner-531, Augusta-529, and Ottawa=528. I would expect two of the 4 to be 4A and the other two to be 5A
